RITOA Mission Statement

The Mission of the Rhode Island Tactical Officers Association (RITOA) is to provide the exchange of ideas and information within the field of police tactical operations;

To encourage friendship and cooperation among tactical personnel of various Rhode Island Law Enforcement Agencies;

To stimulate research and development of new methods, procedures, techniques, and equipment within the field of Law Enforcement Special Tactical Operations;

To encourage the record keeping of information and data value pertaining to tactics, and to establish standards and certification for active SWAT/SRT/CERT officers.
